When talking about the Godhead the Holy Spirit is the will of the Father. This is better understood as God the Father’s laws, statutes, ordinances, and principalities (the complete universal set of the laws of physics created by God the Father – the consciousness of God) that give God (Father, Son, and Spirit) complete dominion over creation. For example, in Genesis 1:2 where the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters can be understood as the total knowledge of God the Fathers’ laws, statutes, ordinances, and principalities which is better translated into the mathematics and laws of physics of the universe.
The fine-tuning of universe could then be understood as the complete Wisdom of the Spirit that flows from Knowledge. In other words, this is Jesus using his perspective of the laws of his Father to create all of existence. Genesis chapter one outlines this perfectly where Jesus is using his perspective to apply the Spirit (the laws, statutes, ordinances, and principalities) of the knowledge from God the Father to himself. I say to himself because God the Father (knowledge), God the Son (Jesus, the Word, and Wisdom), and God the Holy Spirit (laws, statutes, ordinances, and principalities) are the consciousness of the embodiment of God which is pure energy. So, Jesus is not creating matter out of nothing he is transforming a part of pure energy, which is himself, into what we call existence. What Jesus did create out of nothing was the contemplation of our existence, no different than a painter envisioning a painting and then painting it. Viewing creation in this manner discards the need for supernatural events and powers while still agreeing with scripture.
Colossians 1:16-17
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and
that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones,
or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
The Spirit of God the Father in this sense can also be understood as how life is possible. This is why God should not be removed from the research fields of science. This will become painfully evident in the next corresponding entries where we will navigate through the origins of the universe, the origins of life, and the morality of righteousness and punishment of sins.
The failure of man to understand this logic was foretold by Jesus himself when he was talking to Nicodemus.
John 3:1-12
1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know
that thou art a teacher come form God: for no man can do these miracles
that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except
a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old?
Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born
of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:
so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master
of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say into thee, we speak that we do know, and
testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not,
how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
