On day three of creation, God continues with the creation of the earth by causing the waters under the firmament to be gathered together so that dry land could appear. This dry land is now the finished earth, and the waters are now the finished seas, meaning God took the particles created out of the decay of the ocean of Higgs boson particles and applied the laws of physics to them to create the earth and its seas. We know this is finished because God saw that it was now good. God then continues creation on day three by starting and completing the creation of plant life on earth. We know that it was complete because God saw that it was good before the evening and the morning of the third day.
Genesis 1:9-13
9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered
together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together
of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding
seed after his kind, and the fruit tree yielding fruit, whose
seed was in itself, after his kind: and God was that it was good.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after
his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself,
after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13 and the evening and the morning were the third day.
A good synopsis of the first three days of creation would be that it took God three days to start and finish his perfect creation of heaven and earth. In this process he also had time to include creating, to completion, light and plant life. The reason I am doing a synopsis of only the first three days is to highlight the fact that God put a lot of time and effort into making the one place in the whole of creation he would later put man – distinguished by the only firmament we know of. It also allows more time to pass allowing more Higgs bosons to decay which allows for more matter to select from to create all the things on day four. This is important to understand because atheists like Richard Dawkins would have you believe that we live on earth which is but one of billions of planets that could possibly sustain life and therefore the earth isn’t that special. However, this is a moot point when we consider how long it took God to complete all the rest of the bodies in the sky none of which have a firmament – life sustaining atmosphere.
